Specs, controls, and the boring checks that save a launch evening.

Tools Hub

Not every page on this wiki is a hunt. Some of them are the questions you ask before you spend $19.99: will my PC run it, what does the pad do, which store should I open. This hub is that drawer. Gameplay lives in guides. Dates and SKUs live in updates.

Child pages:

  • PC system requirements — Steam’s current minimum and recommended specs, storage, and why older articles disagree.
  • Controls — the action list (light, heavy, dodge, parry, art, Angel, items) and how to think about pads versus keyboard.

Use these before you queue

If you are on console, skip the GPU table and still read controls so Angel Mode is not a mystery bind. If you are on PC, read system requirements even if your friends already wishlisted a 1070. Steam lists Windows 11 on both columns. A 50 GB SSD install is not optional flavor text.

After the spec check, go back to getting started. A machine that runs the game still needs a hunter who understands lives.

What we will not fake

There is no public official overlay with every glyph. There is no frame-rate patch list yet. There is no builder app with imported save data. This hub will not ship a fake DPS calculator to look like a tools page. When ProbablyMonsters publishes a remap screenshot or a Deck rating, it will land here.

If you need official support, use the channels on links — Zendesk and playersupport@probablymonsters.com — not a wiki comment box.

A ten-minute launch-eve pass

  1. Confirm platform and edition.
  2. Confirm 50 GB free and the GPU on the requirements page.
  3. Plug in the pad you will actually use. Steam lists full controller support.
  4. Read the action list on controls.
  5. Skim combat so parry is not your first death in Forsaken Streets.

Tools pages are dull on purpose. Dull is how you still have an evening left for Gildenarch.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you enter Gildenarch.

What are the PC requirements?

Steam currently lists Windows 11, 16 GB RAM, a GTX 1070 or RX 5700 class GPU, and 50 GB as the minimum. Full tables are on system requirements.

Is there a build calculator?

Not from us. Loadouts are documented as identities on early builds until a launched client can support numbers.

Keyboard or controller?

Steam flags full controller support and DualSense. Soulslike melee is happier on a pad for most hunters. See controls.
