Crimson Moon First Look armor

Four premium sets for people who showed up before the gates opened.

First Look Rewards

First Look is ProbablyMonsters’ pre-launch community program. Join at crimsonmoon.firstlook.gg, complete quests, earn XP, and unlock original premium armor designed for founding hunters. The pitch from Dev Log #1 is blunt: rare looks that tell the lobby you were here before September 1. This page is the wiki version of that pitch. It is not a replacement for the live quest board. For how armor works in a hunt, stay on armor sets. For paid cosmetics, stay on editions.

How the program works

You create a First Look account, attach the channels they ask for, and knock out missions: watch trailers, join Discord, share wishlists, play other partner drops, whatever the current board lists. XP fills a track. Armor drops off that track. The studio has said full details would roll out over the months between Summer Game Fest and launch. If a quest looks expired, it is expired. Do not email this wiki.

Rewards are cosmetic prestige. Until a launched tooltip says a First Look piece has unique stats, assume Gajov still matters more than your founding badge. Wear the set in Sanctus Clypeus. Purify a functional set for the ward.

Sets that have been shown

Official YouTube and social reveals, in the order the community saw them:

  • Moonlight Oath — the first “earn premium armor before launch” trailer.
  • Mahkten — described as the second of four premium sets.
  • Ram — short reveal.
  • Vampire — short reveal, easy to confuse with in-world vampire enemies. It is a player look, not a faction flag.

Four is the number the Mahkten post used. If a fifth appears, it will be on the First Look site first. This wiki will not invent a fifth name to fill a table.

What First Look is not

It is not Deluxe. Deluxe is a store SKU with Ceremonial Armor, Axe of the Gods, and an expansion IOU. You can earn Mahkten on a Standard purchase. You can buy Deluxe and ignore First Look. It is also not the PlayStation Sonai Magistrate set or the Steam Valiant set — those are storefront exclusives described on armor. It is not a loot box. It is not a Roblox code list. It is not transferable in any announced way. If you want a friend to match your ram helm, they have to do the quests.

It is also not required to understand combat. The best First Look flex is still a hunter who can parry.

A realistic last-week plan

  1. Open the live First Look board, not a screenshot from June.
  2. Finish any quest that still has a timer.
  3. Wishlist on the platform you will play so those quests count.
  4. Join the Discord linked from links if a quest says so.
  5. Do not stall a getting started read because a cosmetic track is incomplete.
  6. On launch day, equip the set if you earned it, then check whether the tooltip is vanity or a real bonus.

If the gates of Gildenarch open while you are still two XP short, hunt anyway. The Order needs lives more than it needs a matching ram helm. Come back to this page if ProbablyMonsters extends the track past September 1 — some programs do, many do not.

Why the wiki bothers to document this

Search demand before a $19.99 launch is “how do I get the armor from the trailer.” This is the answer: a community XP board, four named sets, cosmetics until proven otherwise. Everything else you need to be strong is on loot and builds.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you enter Gildenarch.

Where do I sign up for First Look?

The official URL is https://crimsonmoon.firstlook.gg/ — also linked from trailers and official links.

How many armor sets can I earn?

Official posts described four premium pre-launch sets. Moonlight Oath, Mahkten, Ram, and Vampire have public reveals.

Do I need Deluxe to get First Look armor?

No. First Look is a community quest line. Deluxe is a separate store bundle with different cosmetics.

Will these sets be stronger than drop armor?

They are marketed as original premium looks. Wait for launched tooltips before assuming they beat a purified rare from Gajov.
