Crimson Moon Characters and threats
Knights, Church, Legion, and the gods that still need killing.
Crimson Moon’s cast is small on purpose. You are a Nephilim, not a silent cipher with a class icon. The hub is full of specialists. The city is full of factions that want you dead. This hub is the index. For plot, use story and lore. For how a body plays, use combat and builds.
Child pages:
- Nephilim and Angels — the player fantasy, Angel Mode, and Sunder.
- Enemies and bosses — Legion, vampires, Hellgrowth, districts, Dead Gods, Solomon Moore.
- Hub NPCs — commander, Mereda, Lottie, Gajov.
- World bosses — three climaxes, a locked finale, and the metal tracks that mark them.
You are the weapon
The Order of the Crimson Moon forges Nephilim as humanity’s answer to Hell. Trailers do not give you a custom backstory so much as a job. Forbidden blood, chains, prophecy. That is enough. The interesting part is the Angel you take into a hunt and the kit you purify. Character progression is a closet, not a skill tree with twenty abandoned nodes.
Game Informer’s preview mentioned choosing from multiple characters with their own builds in the hub. Treat that as a presentation of loadouts and bodies, not as a locked hero roster like a MOBA. Until the launched select screen is public, this wiki will not invent names for playable skins.
The people who keep the Church standing
Sanctus Clypeus only works because NPCs do jobs you should not do in a menu. The commander hands bounties. Mereda turns scrolls into Boons. Lottie sells the two consumables you forget to use. Gajov makes rarity real. If you skip them, your build is half-finished. The NPC page is their dossier. The hub guide is their map.
The Lunatarian Church is a faction, not a vendor. They study Eden. They share a roof with killers. That tension is character work even when nobody has a romance meter.
The things you hunt
Demons, undead, vampires, Hellgrowth, elites, district bosses, world bosses, Dead Gods. Solomon Moore is the named vampire lord. Abraxas Stones mark the campaign. Achievement names already publish a tour: Forsaken Streets, Archspire Cathedral, Ramshorn Keep, Shoreditch Prison, Elk Grove Academy. The enemies page is the bestiary. Do not expect a complete HP list before players can parse logs.
How to use this hub in week one
Read Nephilim so Angel Mode is not a panic button. Skim NPCs so you know who gets your souls. Bookmark enemies so district names mean something on the War Table. Then go back to getting started and actually hunt. Characters in this game are verbs. A wiki page that only lists names has failed. These pages try to tell you what each name does to a run.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you enter Gildenarch.
Can I name my Nephilim?
Pre-launch coverage has not made a full creator public. You define the hunter through loadouts and an Angel more than through a biography screen.
Who is the main villain?
PlayStation materials name Solomon Moore as the vampire lord behind Gildenarch’s fall, with Dead Gods as the broader boss frame. See enemies.
Are hub NPCs optional?
You can ignore them and still queue a mission. You will miss Boons, rarity, and consumables. That is a self-imposed hard mode.
